Heroes All Around Us __ "In this lesson, students will learn about successful Asian Americans whose accomplishments all students can appreciate. Students will write a short biography of a hero they admire, which will encourage better research and writing skills. Japanese-Americans of WWII __ "Following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Franklin Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, which forced the Japanese-American population of the western United States into internment camps. Many of these American citizens lost their property or were forced to sell their homes.
