Amazing World galleries

I can't even pretend to publish enough photos and other illustrations to cover all the material found in this website. These galleries are intended as a supplement to the other resources found here. Some are simply collections of labeled photos and others may be photo essays with quite a bit of explanatory text. For the purpose of allowing web pages to load within some reasonably acceptable speed, the galleries are kept fairly small. A few subjects may be divided into more than one page.

Images used with permission have credits and links to sources - other images are displayed with credits posted when I could find them. If you are the owner of any such image and feel it is being displayed in violation of copyright, contact me with the particulars to establish ownership and I will remove it.
